Setting up an FTP server is very straightforward. Follow these simple steps to enable
AffiliateLogicPro
to upload the dynamically generated, cloaked HTML pages to your server. If you do not have a
Website/hosting account, please visit

AffiliateLogicPro owners.
Name: Add a name for this FTP Server
Address: The FTP address to upload to (i.e. www.yourdomain.com or ftp.yourdomain.com)
FTP Upload Directory: The path to the directory you wish to upload to. For example, if your
Website's root folder is /www and you want to create a new folder for a specific campaign, then you
could type in "/www/new1014". Note: This example is a Unix example and the directory names
will
vary. Your root directory may be /httpdocs in which case your upload directory would be
"/httpdocs/new1014". Affiliate Logic Pro will create a new folder on the server called new1014
and the
corresponding web address would be http://www.yourdomain.com/new1014.
Website Dir: This is an important field because it must match the new folder you created in the
previous step. If you add a FTP Upload Directory path of /httpdocs/new1014 then your Website
Directory must be "new1014". This will insure that when the hyper-targeted page links are
sent to
your recipient that the URL is pointed to the right page. Placing "new1014" in this field
will send the
following link to your recipients: http://www.yourdomain.com/new1014/[firstname]_[lastname].htm
where the first name and last name of each recipient will be replaced with the correct first and last
names.
Username: The username for this FTP account.
Password: The password for this FTP account.
